VETCLICK

Vetclick is designed for vets and the general public. It has a great Forum section letting you ask a vet questions about your pets. It also has an easy search function to help you find a local vet if you're moving to a new area. Or perhaps you're away on holiday and need to find a local vet quickly.


Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home aims to rescue lost or unwanted dogs and cats, re-unite them with owners where possible, rehabilitate animals with behavioural issues, and rehome dogs and cats. Its Lost Dog and Cats Line details are on the website, telephone: 0901 477 8477 (premium rates apply).


The Kennel Club

The Kennel Club's primary objective is 'to promote in every way, the general improvement of dogs'.

It offers information, experience and advice on dog welfare, dog health, dog training and dog breeding. The website is a great resource with loads of information to help you care for, and enjoy your dog and details of doggy events you can attend.


Cats Protection

Formed in 1927, Cats Protection (CP) is a leading UK feline welfare charity. CP cares for and finds new homes for around 60,000 cats and kittens every year, through its network of 29 Adoption Centres and 260 voluntary-run Branches. The website includes helpful information on looking after your cat and has a great section for kids.


Petlog

Petlog is the largest pet reunification and  Identification Service in the UK and is run by the Kennel Club. It supports the records of over 3.5 million pets and their owners. This is on hand 24 hours a day to authorised bodies such as animal wardens or animal welfare centres, who can scan the chips in found animals and trace their owners via the Petlog database.


Blue Cross Charity

The Blue Cross is an animal welfare charity providing animal re-homing, advice on practical care, promoting the benefits of companionship between animals and people and promoting a sense of respect and responsibility towards animals in the community. The website has lots of useful and fun information for owners of all types of pets.


The Dogs Trust

The Dogs Trust’s mission statement is ‘working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.' It is the UK’s largest dog charity and re-homes 1000’s of stray and abandoned dogs each year.
